“Yoga is like music:
the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind,
and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.”
– B.K.S. Iyengar
In our yoga classes we blend different elements that derive mainly from the more traditional yoga style, Hata Yoga, and from Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga founded by K. Pattabi Jois.
Based on the type of lesson and the level of the practitioners, we will choose a more or less dynamic style of yoga, where the execution of the asanas (postures) takes place in a flow, in which the positions are connected to each other by transitional movements (vinyasa) and coordinate with the breath.
The lessons consist of a creative sequence of asanas which usually includes a first part of standing postures, designed to create fluid movements like in a dance, and a second part of postures on the ground, which combine elements of stretching and relaxation.
This practice aims to make the body stronger, agile and balanced, and at the same time to free the mind from thoughts to focus it on the present moment.
You will feel the energy flowing throughout your body as your mind becomes lighter and more focused.
